Concept I've learned.

I have found out that making the simplest game is hard. It isn't a simple code and they do this. The codes might not work and mess everything up. Game designers have earned my respect.

Game Design Next Year?

I am graduating so I will not be making anymore games in the future. I have found out that game designing is for the people that want to spend hours troubleshooting for the fix to their problems. It is not recommended if you do not know the program like the back of your hand.

New games over the holidays?

I acctually recieved two totally adverse games over break. The first is a RPG called Fable 3. It has nothing in common with the game I'm making. The othe game is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. This game is also completely different. Call of Duty is a first person shooter. None of the games had anything in common with my game.

Our Demo.

The demo turned out great, but i wish we could have gotten the box to smash. We shared the work 50/50 in a sense. His ideas just flowed into my work. I haven't really looked at anybodys demos, but I will in near time. My game has had technical difficulties and might not make the deadline of the end of the semester.

My break post!

My favorite online game is Runescape. Its a MMORPG that you just build your levels up to do multiple new things within the game. My game is like a complete reverse of Runescape. I didn't really play many games over break. A lot more eating than playing.

What I did today!?! 10-30-10

What I did today? I looked over adding scenes to my first scene. Nothing to difficult. Then I updated my learning log and came to blog about it. I was supposed to be working on drawing my first scene but I already have that done. That is what I did today.

A new concept that I have learned?!?

I have learned that drawing a game is a lot more complicated than what i thought it would be. Tracing our idea wasn't how we thought it was going to be. Drawing a cartoon boat is harder than it should be. The title and water was the easy part. Now I know how to trace an idea so all my pictures will be easier to draw.
